Husband can file suit for restitution of conjugal rights to revive the marriage. If the wife is employed but the husband is not then husband can file seek maintenance.

But in 21st century in India the situation is as under :-
(i) any man on street will advise you to send legal notice to your wife for restitution of conjugal eights.
(ii) now your wife will be compelled to justify her seperation to avoid lgeal complication to her (easy for her even if she is wrong)
(iii) No she will be compelled to file case opf Domestic Violence and dowry demand (true/false) against entire family. (NOT NECESSARY IN YOUR AREA THANA).
(iv) Then you will be running from pillar to post for just getting bail after some days in Jail.

Sudir sir my wife maintain a ilegal relationship with her lover, she is left my home since 10-6-15, for The reason of ashada masa. Hence ashada masa close i go to her bring back. But her parents n she not accepted come with me. She is complained against me to her parents. I convened several panchayaths, before the elders and well wishes of both the families. But she is not accepted come with me. Then i send legal notice, after she is complaint against me her judicial. Then i case file against to her base of section 9, then after i go to police station, i give 5000 rs to police circle inspector, then he is warned all the front of. In police station also she is not accepted come with me. That's it. Matter is close. 20-2-16 first Case comenced but she not appeared the court. Her lawer is attend but he just told next month filling the form.

Ive cal record is their she told to me compare n favour of her lover, n her mother told to her dont sex with your husband. If you want control your husband. N she is also behaviour like that, our married life only 3 months
