compensation on divorce

Dear Seniors,

I request your clarification on the compensation on divorce. The case is:

where both husband and wife are working in a reputed corporate. Wife wants divorce. Inspite of ill-treatment and disrespect by the wife, husband, has no choice of giving freedom to her. They have two children in the age of 6 & 3.

The wife is also threatening the husband that she would not leave him peacefully. Whether wife has the right to claim the salary of husband.

Yes under the family law and Dv Act but not under section 125 of crpc.

It can be a measure of blackmail only by the wife. It cannot be a legal claim under any law. Be prepared to fight it boldly.
