Complainant died in a criminal case

Respected sir,
I was with one of the political party, as a party worker, once we were protesting against a film and a theater was vandalized by some of our party workers, later we came to know that police was searching us, so we all appeared before the police, they took us to magistrate and we were given bail. but after that there was no information regarding the case now after 4 years, i came to know that the manager of the theater who was the complainant has been murdered, so what can be the remedy??
can the case be closed? can we appeal in the court to close the case, as the complainant has died???

A criminal case does not gets end on death of complainant so long offence charged is against state or against personal property.
But all dies with the death of accused.

You can pray court to insist prosecution to adduce evidence.
Of what offences you are charged??

Respecter sir,
i do not have any information regarding the charges, because it has been 4 years of that incident. we were just produced before the magistrate once, got bail, since then we have no information regarding the case, we have received no summons or any thing.

Agreed with expert a criminal case is against the state so death of complainant doesn't matter in the state case.
the only remedy is to insist prosecution to produce
