Dear Experts,
My close relative(railway employee)was under corruption charges and the FIR was lodged. 24 cases were filed with CBI court, Patiala and court held guilty and announced imprisonment in all 24 cases with max 3 years and all shall run concurrently. But out 24 cases 3 were not to run concurrently and each 3 were with max 3 years means total imprisonment of 3+9=12 years. He already was in jail for 3 years. Later appeal was filed with PB high court and CBI judgment sustained. Later he went to Supreme court and the case was also dismissed. Now he is in jail
Please guide how the pending 3 cases judgment of imprisonment of 3 years can run concurrent so that if all 24 are running concurrently then he can be out of jail as total 3 years already completed.
please advise...
thanking you..

Dear Querist
It's depend on the court, if the court pronounce judgement and held that in all case the imprisonment will be run concurrently then only three years will be count otherwise not.

The appeal filed by your relative has finally been dismissed by Hon;ble Supreme Court of India so there is no chance as desired.

sir, in supreme court only case filed for order against dimisal in PB high court. In both PB High court and supreme court no concurrent related matter was filed. recently for concurrent appeal was filed in Punjab high court and court dismissed directing to go to supreme court for concurrent. Can the same be concurrented in supreme court. Please tell the possibility and also a good lawyer who can do this....
