(Querist) 28 March 2010 This query is : Resolved 
If the state government says that the tax on any things will be rs. 200 as an example but as per the Indian consitution, 1949 the tax should not be more than 100 so which tax rate should be followed?

Meaning of pecuniary limits as per section 6 of the civil procedure code, 1908 & what the section says.

Pls give the case laws if any

Q.Meaning of pecuniary limits as per section 6 of the civil procedure code, 1908.
A.Pecuniary Limits of the Court is the Limit of money on till the court can hear the matter eg. in U.P. the CJ(JD)can hear the matter which value is 25000/-.
