We own a house in a society in Gujarat since more than 5 years. WE have constructed a toilet (under construction) on back side of our house, its a duplex. Is it legal or illegal? What rules are applicable in either case?

The covered/uncovered area is usually described.
Refer to society rules and approved map.
If there is violation you can be penalized as per rules.

Without the sanctioned building plan no permanent structure can be constructed. So prima facie your constructions is purely illegal and liable for demolition.

Question changed by the author! What is your real problem, toilet or grill?
Also, why not you ask from the secretary of the society or go through the byelaws of your society or go to the local municipality to get your doubts cleared and to find solution to your academic problem?
