Recently i ordered a cricket bat priced Rs 9000 at flipcart . I want to gift this to my team mate. So i ordered this at his address. But when he received the bat this was not the same as described in flipcart ad. So i asked flipcart to replace it. But flipcart did not deliver the genuine product which was promised in its ad.then i write to flipcart through its 'need help ' option , but flipcart took no action. I complain to consumer help number. They provide me a docket number and asked me to let know the flipcart about this docket number. I used the same 'Need help' option at flipcart and add the details. After two days i received a call from flipcart and they offered me to have refund. But i said i need the bat u promised. I am at Dhemaji district. And the seller is from Meerut. I want to complain to consumer court. Please guide me . Where should i complain and what is the procedure?

The phone calls are verbal transactions and may not be on written record.
Narrate minutes of all call record and docket number issued to you and let M/s Flipcart write to you.
After having built irrefutable written record it is your option to approach DCDRF with your complaint.
Or you may accept the offer and collect the refund and forget.

You should file a Complaint in Consumer Court and claim damages and cost etc. I think you have a good case.

Rasik sir,
Which consumer court should i complain at. Is it meerut or dhemaji district. Cause seller is from meerut.

Flipcart was ready to return your money. You should have opted.
However, you have orders from your place, article delivered at your place, you can file complaint at your local jurisdiction.

File Compla�nt before consumer forum .complaint can be filed at place where opposite party resides or carries on b�siness or where cause of action partly �r wholly arises,y�u can file complaint at place from where you place order for purchase bat or where you got delivery of bat.
