Dear Mr. Naman Mohnot,

Charging above Maximum Retail Price tantamount to Unfair Trade Practice and for that Consumer Complaint in relevant district forum under whose geographical jurisdiction that shop/multiplex falls can be filled.

Remember that, you as consumer activist, layman can demand your money spend over product with some compensation for mental agony. You can also claim money for legal expenses.

Importantly, Unfair Trade Practice to unnamed and many consumers, you can pray huge amount starting from one lac to ten lac depending upon product/its usage & sales required to be deposited in consumer welfare fund.

Go Ahead and file the complaint. Procure bill/invoice and product it self which required to be produce as evidence.

This can only be done when product sold in its packaging and multiplex not render any luxury services to you.

Thanks & Regards,
