Hi,
I would like to know how strong is the indian consumer law. I work with international customers - who claim if the product is not provided in good working state they can claim for a replacement. Is it possible in India also? Is it possible to claim for a compensation for the mental hassles due to that inappropriate product?
Please advice me with info and if anyone could help me in this case about the procedure to file a complaint what all i should be doing Will be really thankful.

Yes, it is possible in India also. If the product is not provided in good working state the customer can claim for a replacement and also can claim for a compensation for the mental hassles due to that inappropriate product.
