After noticing an ad in internet I had purchased a return air ticket of BAGSOGRA-LONDON-BAGDOGRA from one MASIA GLOBEL VENTURES having its office in Ghana as they claimed that they are a travel agent and new in this field so they are offering a great discount. After contacting them over telephone and mail they told they are a authorized agent of EXPEDIA and for my belief they also mailed me my e tickets for the route and asked me to confirm and then make the payments. Accordingly I contacted to the airlines they told that ticked has been issued in my name through EXPEDIA and on my query they further told to contact with EXPEDIA as it is only them who has the authority to assured confirmed and protect the tickets. Accordingly I contacted EXPEDIA and over telephone and mails they confirmed me my tickets are OK and I need not to worry and I can make the payments. Then I made the payment to MASIA GLOBEL VENTURES in the mode they asked. But later I by the words of MASIA GLOBEL VENTURES I felt sum doubt and contacted EXPEDIA several times mentioning all the facts including that the said MASIA GLOBEL VENTURES who claims that he is their(EXPEDIA)agent and he is threatening me to cancel my tickets from NEIGERIA EXPEDIA assured me they had noted the same and will take necessary steps so that my tickets does not get cancelled by any way except my written consent and as per EXPEDIA'S advice I requested them to change the EMAIL ID of the itinerary from MASIA GLOBEL VENTURES to my one Email id and after going through a process they honored my request. Then I contacted the EMBASSY'S for VISA and also to my friends in EUROPE for the budget transportation and stay, and I was in search of those. All on a sudden on 26/06/2011 while cheeking my trips I found my tickets were cancelled. Not wasting any time I contacted EXPEDIA and was utterly surprised and shocked to here from them that MASIA GLOBEL VENTURES is not an agent of them and they had cancelled my tickets as the same was purchased by a credit card which was not of MASIA GLOBEL VENTURES and when I told them I have already given them enough mails and calls querying the genuinely of the tickets first they started to threat me as if I have made the ford and when I given them all the references they just said "SORRY" later I had given them a notice but they didn't replied the same though had issued an acknowledgement of receive.
Now sir I want to proceed against EXPEDIA in consumer forum will it be proper? If I don't make MASIA GLOBEL VENTURES A party will my claim will suffer due to non joinder of necessary parties? Should I make the airlines also a party of the case?
