Dear All,
I bought 300feet pvc pipe from a factory for submersible boring of Rs.28000 on bill. After three hours of trial of submersible bore, some pipes got damaged because it could not resist to the small stones which were put into bore alongside the pipe as per requirement.
However vendor verbally assure me the quality
of the pipes.
Underthecircumstances I bear a loss of Rs.75000 , due to poor quality of the pvc pipe.
Can I go to Consumer forum for the claim.
Please advice?
Thanks,
Daksh

Dear Anonymous,
Yes you do have a strong prima facie case for deficiency of service. Put the vendor on notice seeking replacement and damages and failing which you have a right to initiate and prosecute consumer complaint.
Best Regards
Daksh

whether the said pipes were made for the said use as per any paper/bill etc?
Unless, something is assured in black and white, how could you claim there is deficiency?

sir,
u purchased the pvc pipies for boreing purposes whether that pvc pipes were purely made for tat or not.
if it is an normal pvc pipes beware of the quality only u purchased the pvc pipies in that case there is no deficiency of service
if that pipes were made out for that purpose and the quality is good and ment for that purpose the thee will be an deficency of sevice then u can rush to consumer form

Dear Sirs,
These pipes are exclusively used for boring purposes & also same was told to the vendor. And these pipes are one of the best pipes of its class in terms of its strength & weight. And the brand I used, has a good name in the market. And chances of breakage is only 1%.
Please advice.

If the seller inform you about the chance of breakage then your chance for getting compensation is very low.

Dear Sir,
I was informed verbally about the chances of breakage only after we complained to the vendor for its quality.
