If an government establsihment or statutory body have not complied the direction of court , what action can be taken ?

Hi,
Disobedience of order of any court is not to be taken with impunity rather if proved the person guilty of disobedience of order of court has to be punished.Contempt of court is broadly of Two types (1) Civil Contempt and (2)Criminal Contempt.Simply stating a person guilty and be punished under CPC, O:39CPC as also under Cr.P.C. Besides,there is a Contempt of Court Act whereunder such persons can be punished ('person' includes government also & all juristic persons).The LAW is- HIGH COURT CAN PUNISH FOR ITS CONTEMPT & CONTEMPT OF SUBORDINATE COURTS.Finally,the ONLY Court whose order is disobeyed can punish or the HC.
