Sirs,
In my matter, court has passed an order for child visitation in favour of husband. wherein the wife directed to allow the husband to meet the child on saturday and sunday between 9 am to 5 pm. husband since last four weeks tried to meet the child but the wife does not allowed him to meet the child on one pretext to the other. lastely the husband tried to meet the child with the help of local poplice but on that day prior to 9 O'clock the wife went away with the child and when the husband went to meet the child with the police his mother-in-law threatened the husband and the police constable and not allowed the husband to meet the child.
now the husband wants to file an application for contempt of court. can you guide me that where can we file an application for contempt of court?

contempt of court petition can be filed before High court.

You file an application under Order 21 Rule 32 of CPC before the same family court seeking the implementation of the order passed by it and court shall definitely get it executed through police etc.
