Hi,
I am a 35 yrs man, separated from my wife 5 years ago living in same city but different houses. Since after numerous attempts she is unwilling to go ahead with mutual divorce, I have no other option but to file it 1 sided. My lawyer suggests that we file a Judicial Separation case as thats easier and quicker to get, as compared to contested divorce.
Whereas I was under the impression that by living separately for 5 years already, theres no point of JS and its better to go for contested only.
Kindly suggest which one do I choose and what the pros n cons of both options.
My wife and kids stay with my parents only, and my parents are on my side and are supporting this case so the divorce happens soon. Please suggest.

But kindly suggest what are the pros n cons....is it correct that JS is comparatively easier and quicker to get than divorce? Especially in my case where I am living separately for 5 years anyways? Coz my lawyer suggests JS...kindly explain.
