is contract farming legally valid? Any agreement of lease pertaining to agriculture land in U.P. is legally enforciable?

leasing of agricultural land is prohibited under UP Zamindari abolition Act, unless the farmer is of exempted category.

Please elaborate what do you really mean contract farming.
