Ld Counsels,
If there are contradictions between the documents marked in a divorce case and the pleadings in the petition will the contradictions be appreciated and render the evidence unreliable or is it mandatory to bring attention of petitioner to these contradictions during cross examination.
Since the contradictions are already marked as documents is it necessary to cross examine those.
In this case police FIR is marked as document and tthe satement in police FIR contradicts with the statement in divorce petition.
Thanks in advance.

during the course of arguments mention that the averments in petition is flase and to the knowledge of Petitioner as documents produced by him contradict his own case .
you can during cross draw attention of petitioner to inherent contradictions in the case . it will prove that petitioner has deliberately made flase staements on oath and strengthen your case
