Delay in revision by opposite party

(Querist) 02 July 2017 This query is : Resolved
I have filed a cr. Rivision u/s 397 cr. Pc. In the district court. The opposite party is taking unnecessary adjournments at every hearing and the judge is also frequently gives another date on the application of opposite party. Can the court be requested to put cost on the opposite party or there is any other method for the early disposal of the case.
Sankaranarayanan (Expert) 02 July 2017
Yes, you can point the same and put the cost of delay
Udit (Querist) 02 July 2017
Is there any provision in cr. Pc. Or in any other criminal law
Sri Vijayan.A (Expert) 02 July 2017
If the respondent convincingly pleaded, the case can be adjourned. However, if you get affected by the adjournments you can plead so.
The Judge can ask you to proceed with argument.
Rajendra K Goyal (Expert) 02 July 2017
Agree with the expert Sri Vijayan. A.
