Cheating case

One of the advocate cheated my friend. As now that advocate is refusing but earlier he promised to my friend that will get a job in lok Adalat for which he asked 3.5lac , now advocate went underground and changed his number as well.
However he managed to get his new number but police people refusing to accept the case against him. Even my friend don't have proper evidences prove it so, they approached lok Adalat as well but no result yet
Suggest what should we do now because that advocate is an influencitial person in the city and have the good contact

If the local police is not cooperating, you may approach the district crime branch police with a complaint agaisnt the mischievous advocate.
Law is common for all hence you will certainly get a respite if there is genuineness in your claim.
