Husband details to be removed

My cousin had eloped with a guy when she was 17. There was no legal wedding or ceremony held.
Later she got her adhaar id under her husband's name w.o.
Her husband died few years ago in an accident and due to ill-treatment from her in-laws she came back to her family.
now she doesn't want to be identified as a widow and wishes to remove her husband's name from adhaar without being marked as widow.
Is it possible?

I'm of the opinion that she was a minor of 17 years when she eloped with that man and there was no formal wedding ceremony after her elopement.Just because of Aadhar card which mentions her name as wife of that man I don't think she can't retain her own identity and maiden name and biological father's Sir name after the demise of the so called husband and Aadhar card is not an impediment to retain that girl's own identity without her so called husband's tag beside her name.as per the facts given by you.

prima-facie the marriage was not legal unless she continued with the marriage on attaining majority.

Proceed to get the Aadhar details changed through online process / through Aadhar card center.

Can use father's name with her name.

No option. Widow will remain widow till she remarries.
