Adopting husband surname after marriage

(Querist) 14 September 2017 This query is : Resolved
Dear Experts,
My wife has adopted my surname after marriage. I got my surname added to her name through central gazette. After that, We Registered our marriage under Hindu marriage act. The marriage certificate bears her name with my surname as well. My query is 1. will she have any problem while doing any higher education or private sector job with her new name. 2. Can we buy joint property now with her new name without any fear?? 3. Will she face any problem in future in inheriting my wealth including mutual funds, epf, ppf etc if I nominate her with her new name.
Awaiting your kind opinion. Thanks
.

SINCE YOUR WIFE FOLLOWED DUE PROCEDURE THROUGH GAZETTE NOTIFICATION PUBLICATION IN CHANGING HER SIR NAME TO THAT OF YOURS SHE WOULD NOT HAVE ANY PROBLEM EITHER WITH HIGHER EDUCATION 0R PRIVATE JOBS OR TRANSFER OF YOUR INVESTMENT BENEFITS SUCH AS MUTUAL FUNDS, EPF AND PPF BENEFITS. IN FUTURE.You both can buy Jt property with her new surname without any hurdles or problem.

Agreeing with Experts.............

If you are apprehensive then check carefully again; some establishment s ask for both Maiden name, Husband name also..............

Fill it correctly.

You may ask concerned official and also add narration of maiden name/name as per gazette and attach copy...........
