police verification

(Querist) 11 October 2017 This query is : Resolved
Sir I had been chargesheeted in a counter case filed against me. I have compromised the case in lok adalat with the complainant.
I have been selected for govt job and during document verification I submitted a declaration that there is no any criminal case is pending and I have never been convicted as it was asked by bank.
I come to know that during probation period a police verification is done after it I will be termed as regular employee .
My query is whether I would face any difficulties regarding police verification?

If you have not provided any false information / not disclosed any material information, there would be no problem.

Generally PSU Banks avoid to appointment even if candidate is kept under detention.

Police verification is cont conducted during probation. It is conducted even before issue of appointment order.
Ms.Usha Kapoor (Expert) 12 October 2017
Since both of you complainant and defense settled the matter amicably before the lok Adalat it shall be deemed that you don't have any criminal cases pending against you.Hence this doesn't prove fatal to your employment.Or police verification during your probation in PSU Bank. After Compromise with complainant you got a clean chit in criminal case pending against you. Hence no stigma and no danger to your selection to _PSU Bank either during probation thereafter.IN police verification you'd emerge unscathed regarding pending criminal cases against you in view of compromise with the complainant before Lok Adalat.

Yes, once the matter is settled, there is no pending criminal case against you; it is equally true that you have never been convicted. If that, exactly, is the information sought, you furnished the correct information and there is nothing to worry.
Kumar Doab (Expert) 12 October 2017
As already suggested go thru the the language of Forms/Affidavits that you to sign and answer carefully.
You have already approached lawyer and your lawyer can also help you understand the meaning of each question.

In case the police verification reveals the pending case(s) the recruiter has the discretion to act in accordance with IT;s SOP.

If You have not concealed anything and have filled correct facts, you can seek and get relief from court.
