In a criminal trial matter, the complainant gives evidence.
Can the defence counsel ask leading question with regard to the cross-case filed against the instant complainant, which was registered but no follow-up action taken?

Leading question can be put at the time of cross examination by defence counsel. In case objection raised by the prosecution, it can be answered that the another complaint made by the accused against the complainant is not being prosecuted and no court proceedings taking place in that complaint.
