Contempt of court order

Sir/Madam In my Dv case lower court has ordered 7000 /pm and 5 lakhs (to be paid within 3 months i.e by 28.02.2018) as compensation for my wife. At present Two childs are resides with my in laws. I have filed appeal, court has rejected to give stay but appeal is under trial. Court has called Lower court records.
If my op lawyer filed contempt in lower court, is there any possibility to issue Flw/arrest warrant? If police will put me in jail is it affect my govt (Karnataka state govt)job?
Pl give Ur valuable opinion

If you don't honor court orders there is a likelihood of your being put in civil prison for 6 months with fine or you will be put in civil prison till you honor the Judgment or order whichever is earlier.This is called civil contempt.

In the absence of any stay by a competent court, non compliance of orders of the court clearly render you liable for contempt proceedings with result of fine or imprisonment, as the court may decide. Rest depends upon the term of imprisonment for the number of days, as cannot be elaborated for an academic query.

Another funny side of the academic query of Athi Vishal HD is that he forgot what question he raised and on what reply of an expert he gave a "like"
He asked query, "If my op lawyer filed contempt in lower court, is there any possibility to issue Flw/arrest warrant? If police will put me in jail is it affect my govt (Karnataka state govt)job?" but he liked merely a definition of contempt of court. Had he been in service, he would not have been satisfied without getting a reply on how his service was likely to be affected on being imprisoned on account of contempt of court..
That itself proves that he does not have any such problem in reality, but made only a hypothetical academic query,
The irony is that, although the answer does not satisfy the requirement of the question, and nobody challenged her response, but still the expert stated that she stuck to her view. So, what sort of knowledge of law and expertise of the expert is denoted by her reply can well be judged by the readers.

Sorry to say that Mr Dhingra's statement is absolutely wrong. If u dnt want to reply u may remain silent. I have lot of real problems. Pl go thru my quiries which raised since 2015.

Im not a law student. I'm 42 yr old and I'm working in Karnataka state govt .I rendered already 18 yrs of service.
LCI admn pl go thru his replies he always quarralling with quiriest and learned counsels. Hence pl delete all his replies

You are merely a confused judge of your own cause. You may declare anyone wrong, but facts cannot be denied that you ask something, but like reply to something else, not being relevant to your query. Moreover, academic queries like ,"IF" police "WILL" put in jail cannot be said to pertain to any present problem.
However, police putting you in jail may or may not affect your Government job, but DV case is certainly put a break in your Government job, if not exonerated honourably.
Anyway, for the sake of experiment, you may like to file a case of contempt of court.
