Query: My grandfather has 3 daughters(no son). entire ancestor property was in my grand father name before his death(25yr back he expired). later after his death entire property was divided to 4 which includes my grandmother share(3yr back).
Now my question is do i have any legal rights on mothers ancestor property. as she intends to sell without my consent.

No one has right to sale your mother's share. Approach civil court.

You have right in your mother's 1/4th share property. So if Your mother wants to sell, she can sell only her half share in her shared property excluding your share.

You have posted a confused post.
The property belong to your grandfather (parental or maternal) ?
Whose ancestor owned for inheritance to your grandfather ?
How 1/4th share has been settled, as stated by you ?
Consult and engage a local prudent lawyer for filing suit for partition, possession and mesne profits, if it is not an academic question paper.

Great question of an anonymous person with great answers!! The irony is that a great person has got two times liking also for his wrong judgment!

The first and foremost question arises, how the property tends to be an ancestral property? Another question arises, under which section of which law the mother of the querist cannot sell her legally acquired share at her own will? The third question arises, under which section of which law, the anonymous querist is entitled to 1/2 share of her living mother?

Anyway, the querist and the thankless daughter of a mother is quite free to follow any one or all of the first three pieces of advice to get the taste of litigation against her mother.

You need to be the querist or approved LAWyersclub expert to take part in this query .
