when i went court on the date given to my file 8 September
till challan was not presented in court i have seen my file
i signed on my file & returned to home as lawyer said to me
after 30 minutes Thana LC(lower constable) phoned me & asking to send my photo on his whatsapp no.
& also my lawyer said to give him photo
& lawyer informed me challan has been presented in court
i send photo
i fill form for avail me copy of challan to nakal vibhag
today vibhag employee said challan was not presented & your application was returned from office
it means lawyer is lying
i am worried if i made mistake by giving my photo or not ?
is this right procedure that LC phoned & asked photo to accuse over phone ?
please learned counsel let me know ?

Don't worry about the photo, for the safer side do not delete your Whatsapp chat.

Do not delete and keep full record.
Generally proceedings are available on line in most of the courts, can search whether challan is presented or not.

Which Court? What is the case No.?
Are you the plaintiff or the defendant or the complainant or the accused?
Files in the court could be seen by the parties not as a matter of routine but on specific request.
Please post the complete facts, if you have any real issue.

Criminal case
I m accused & on bail
On my date I went MM court with my lawyer
Majistrate was not present
Reader (the person sitting near judge chair )gave my file to lawyer I also stood near lawyer so I have seen it

There seem no worry, your lawyer is there to look after your interest. If Challan is presented, he would be provided with a copy of challan.

Without the Police presenting the Challan, it is impossible that a date could have been given by the Court.

i m on bail every month there is a date given my file
from February to august 2020 ( during lokdown 4 dates was given by court )
in which on march 5 & september i was appeared
till sepember 7 challan was not presented
i saw a hajiri mafi performa pinned on my file

next date is 28 octomber 2020 (lawyer said )
what will happened ?
had challan seen by judge on 8 sep.
or it will see on 28 octomber ?
or in between 8 sep.to 28 oct .
i cant ask my lawyer becoz he use to say why you asking

On that day, you may be asked to accept the crime / guilt, if not, case would proceed with the evidences from prosecution, generally next date is given.
