Respected Lawyers,
I want to donate all my assets (House, Saving account, Mutual Funds, PF etc) to charity in case of death. I am unmarried, and my siblings who are married may be the legal heirs. Is there any way to do so? and how does it ensures that the money goes to charity after death?

You shall find a Public Trust (there are many trusts in India) and ensure that the trust is functioning very well then execute a Will mentioning all your assets including movables to be devolved to that trust after your life. Or you may execute a Will appointing one Trustee whom your kith & kin maintain and use the properties for charity purposes only after your life. You can gift all the properties to the trust reserving life interest. Consult a prudent lawyer of your area.

Get a will executed and registered with intimation to beneficiary.

Choose the charity trust which would suit your requirement and bequeath all your assets comprising both movable as well as immovable through a testamentary disposition, i.e., by a Will. Inform the beneficiary by a written communication about this and if possible you can let them know the details of the place where this Will is kept.

Else, you may constitute a charitable trust mange the assets after your lifetime for the purposes specified.
