Our building is one of the 24 buildings in Kurla-Mumbai and is duly registered. All the 24 buildings are without Conveyance. We (our society) are intending to go for Re-development, the person who has the right for Conveyance, is demanding money around 15-25 lakhs from our society and only after conveyance, we can sub-divide the undivided land and then we can go for Re-Development.
Is it legal to demand money for Conveyance? Shall we go for Deemed Conveyance?
Would Deemed Conveyance give us the applicable FSI as compared to Regular Conveyance?
Shall the benefits under Regular Conveyance would be equal to Deemed Conveyance?
Shall we (24 buildings) form a committee and then approach the Registrar for Deemed Conveyance, in this way can we sub-divide the plot or shall we (our society) go alone for the same?
Sir, please show us the right path to follow.

You will agree that it is not your personal legal problem.
I assume, u r not authorized , nor u asked this query for or on behalf of other members.
Why should we Experts waste time to explain 24x40 [say] 1000 persons individually, if they ask??
And ur 24 buildings members together are capable to consult professionals, Why u expect to get it FREE??
U personally don't need help.
Curiosity, and academic interest to know are not entertained in Expert zone.
Those , especially corporates, and firms who can afford Professional services are not encouraged here for FREE EXPERT SERVICE.
