Correction of name in the sslc marks card

Hi,
I want to do name correction in my SSLC Marks card (10th standard card), since my parent name appeared partially only.
I approach Karnataka education board for doing necessary correction, but they said it possible with in 1 year date of issue or I have to take court order if it is above 1 years .
(But I have finished my SSLC in 2009).
Can I know the procedure for taking court ,the parties involved in this,time duration ?

i meet few lawyers in my location but they are not guranting the Time duration for the whole process.

Dont ask for any guarantee from the lawyers. Take the help for initiating the legal process for changing your name.

I have to change my parents name not my name, for i have all supporting documents for parents name.
i want to know the excepted time because , i want to make a passport (for emplyeeoment purpose).

What is your father name as per the SSLC book
What is your father name as per the HSC book
What is your date of birth
What is your father name as per the birth certificate
Based on this I can give solution for getting the passport.

If possible use alternate document for passport. Time taken by court depends upon many factors. Court may take 2-3 years in deciding case.

My Father name as per the SSLC marks card :Syed nayeem
Date of birth:28th AUG 1989
Father name as per the birth certificate
:V Nayeem (correct name)
i have all other document (like voter id,adhar card etc)on v nayeem other than SSLC Marks card.
and it is mandatory to submit SSLC marks & birth ceritificate to passport office who have born after 1988.
please help.

If you can send me the scanned copy of the SSLC book and Adhar card, I will be in a position to arrive at a conclusion.
Why you have not noticed this mistake at that time itself.
What is your academic qualification after SSLC. What is your father's in those certificates.

Can i get your email id so that i forward my scanned documents to you,
my academic qualification is B.com,
This incorrect names are appeared in the both SSLC & PUC marks sheet (incorrect names carried forwarded to PUC as per the SSCL marks card).
Degree marks card their is no issue (no parents names included).

You should file a civil suit which may take a period of about 3 years to decide.

But the B.Com., TC of the college will bear the parent's name.
Now I suggest you to send the SSLC PUC and Degree TC, which bear your father's name, for giving a right suggestion.
