There no time limit is fixed for commencing the inquiry. The disciplinary committee has to decide on the prima facie.

I DISGREE THERE MUST BE TIME LIMIT, SEE THE CCS RULES MEANT FOR MAHARASTRA STATE EMPLOYEES OR THERE MUST BE ANY NOTIFICATION IN THIS REGARD.
