hello,
I was involved in corruption/ fraud in my previous employment with a PSU , but they did not take any action as it did not come to their knowledge , now I have switched to another PSU and doing my job there. If my current PSU got to know about my corruption in previous PSU would they take action against me. what sort of action and punishment it would be?

If you have not disclosed fact of involvement of you in said corruption to your new employer, he can take departmentak actions against you for concealment of important facts and if it is done, you may removed from service too.

You said that the corruption did not come to the knowledge of your earlier employer.
But, if that is revealed any time hereafter, criminal action may be taken against you. That will definitely affect your current employment as you are a PSU employee.

as on date you are no longer in employement of previous employer . when did you leave old job and join the new PSU?
you are lucky that you got away scot free till now . be satisfied what you are earning and try to turn a new leaf .
if your previous employer discovers faraud yyou have done they will definitely take action aginst you . file criminal case against you .

repeated query based on surmises and conjunctures. Nothing has happened as on day but if your employer shall read our comments and your query, then he may get information at the earliest.

You must have to clear all the picture to your current PSU.

i will agree with Mr Nair and Sethi. Old PSU can setill file criminal case. But will discagree with Mr Sethi as the Old PSU can also inform the present PSU. New PSU is competent to take congnisance of the misconduct in previous PSU provided the alleged action of yours is misconduct in both the CDA Rules. The attestation form given to the present employer does not have any column to report undetected misconducts against you. So there cannot be allegation of concealment of facts and I wish to partially diagree wth Mr Ajay Bansal.

with reference to Mr Sudhir Kumar response to my query one thing is not clear and still bothering me and that is 'when no harm has been done to the stakes of the current employer (PSU) why would they will take action against me on the charge of a misconduct / fraud happened at previous employer, that is not understood.

every employer wants its employees with clean image . a man of integerity . an employee who has indulged in fraud /misconduct is not tolerated and shown the door .
if you have indulged in fraud in earlier organisation you do have criminal bent of mind and wont hesitate in making a fast buck and defruading your current employers too
