court decreed as exparte

(Querist) 28 February 2016 This query is : Resolved
Dear advocates, my creditor filed a suit on basis of promissory note on me. I approached a lawyer for that and he filed a vakalath. He is from another town. He did not attend the court after filing the vakalath. For this I approached another advocate for representing me. He filed written statement along with fresh vakalath. The court rejected that due to lack of no objection from the old advocate and decreed the suit by doing exparte. What can I do at this situation please suggest me. Old advocate is not in communication.

Now you can go and file a Petition with new advocate, for set aside the ex-parte decree passed against you, with a valid reasons/grounds. At this movement, there is no need to get No Objection, from your earlier advocate.
