(Querist) 16 April 2016 This query is : Resolved
I have to challenge a registered Will in uttar pradesh which is having immovable property as its subject. I came to know that I would have to deposit some cout fee for that. But I am not aware as to how to calculate the requisite Court Fee.
Kindly tell me about it and oblige.

Thanks with Regards

Court fee is a local subject and is based on valuation. A local advocate can guide you.

You approach a local lawyer as suggested by my great friend

1. Do you intend to challange execution of Will by filing a declaratory suit? If so, you are required to pay court fees accordingly. If you want to file "any other" suit, pay fees accordingly.

2. Consult a local lawyer if you are not a lawyer, otherwise, some senior lawyer be contacted and/or read UP Stamp Duty Act.
