The facts shows that the marriage is registered and not registered marriage. there is diff between registered marriage and marriage registration. anyways she has got married and also regsitered then in that case you cannot do anything until n unless she was below age or has been kidnapped if she complains so. she has willfuly gone and got married. so i thnk you cannot do anything accept if you doubt that was under pressure then you can move a writ of heabes corpus in Highcourt.

In the given facts and your subsequent information, you cannot derive any benefit out of the fact that only a single witness was present at the time of registration of marriage. Though this is illegal but the fact of marriage of your sister is not being denied by you. As she has married willfully so it is better to accept her and declare accordingly.
You can just lodge your complaint before the local police about her safety etc. but can do nothing and until she feels her security from your side, she wont come out of her hiding place.

There is nothing called marriage.
It is rather marriage before the Marriage Registrar.
Here the presence and signature of two witnesses is mandatory.

I agree with Barman sir,
The temple marriage is a valid marriage, just that it was not registered properly is no ground for terming it invalid./
