I love a girl and she too loves me. We want to get married but her parents are not ready. My parents are ready for the marriage. So we want a suggestion on Court Marriage without consent of her parents. We feel that her parents, being Lawyers, can cause some problems for us in the post-marriage period. What all consequences can be faced after the marriage from her parents' side? Will it create any case of kidnapping or Co-ercion or will there be no such issues and we will get a smooth grant from them after the marriage? And even if they create a problem what measures can be taken from our side.

the only thing to consider is that she is having completed the legal age for marriage then there will be absolutely no obstruction from her parents and that she should speak in your favour if any controversy arises.

yes,a very good advice.
before proceeding in this direction, try to get the support of her parents through common friends and relatives,so that avoidable mental strains could be eliminated on an important happy occasion of one's life.

This type of threatening amounts to harassment. Even though your friend has given a letter mentioning that he has taken back the rti application, it is not a bar for filing applications in future. As per the Act he can file applications at any time in future.
It is better if somebody other than the student of that college asks information as a citizen of India.

Sorry for posting the above reply inadvertently. I tried to post this reply to rti query.
As long as you both are majors, you can go ahead with the marriage, legally there are no problems. However, both of you have to withstand to the presures / problems which you may face after marriage. Also you should financially strogn to support your family.

Dear author, am also agree with experts.. If you both are major, and the girl's stands will be steady mean no one can stop your marriage. Take marriage with the support of your family and your friends. Then register your marriage before concern registrar.

For your kind information, here no provision for court marriage, also no procedure like that. As a friend my advise to you, fall in love, or success in convince your lover is not a success. You have to convince her parents. If you married her with both family's wishes mean thats only true success. Then just think your self. Now where you are standing. Thats all.
