court order for name change

I am married Hindu woman staying in India. My name was changed after marriage from Miss A.B.C.(name, father's name & surname) to Mrs. X.Y.Z. (New name, husband's name & husband's surname ) Now I am asked to get court order for change of my name from ABC to XYZ by US authorities as I am applying for visa.
My Question is from where and under what provision in India, I can get court order for the name change?
Pl answer my query.

You may file a petition before civil court in this regard. You are advised hereby hire the services ofyour local experienced civil lawyer.

You will have to file a suit for declaration and injunction. Before filing the suit you will have to issue notice to the concerned Dist, Commissioner who represents the state and Deputy Director of Public Instructions u/s sec 80 of CPC. After waiting period of 60 days of mandatory period you will have to file a suit.
There are two types of suits one is suit in persona and suit in rem.
Suit in persona means defendants are necessary and in suit in rem defendants are not necessary. The judgement and decree passed in suit in rem is applicable to whole world.
Now a days so many judges are unaware of suit in rem.

i agree with Niranjan .
your problem is to satisfy of query of US govt.
yo register your marriage and get marriage certificate .and apply for declaration in government gazete after declaration of such gazete along with marriage certificate you can get visa.
it is regular practice.
