Criminal suit and civil suit

Hi, please need advice.

This is the other way round for me. I know that having a civil suit is no bar to file for criminal proceedings BUT can you file a civil suit after you have filed for criminal proceedings??

yes you can file a civil suit after you have filed for criminal proceedings provided you have a civil right too on facts.
