A crop compensation cheque was issued on my father's name in oct15.they didn't give us as our name was not mutated in records. Even now it's not on computer. May I file a case directing them to reissue on successors name in a time limit

I think I Did. Cheque was issued on our agricultural land for crop compensation. Since they hadn't mutated our name on records.Cheque came in fathers name

Whether your father alive?
If not first get the land mutated in the name of legal heirs.

The crop compensation cheque is to issued in the name of the farmer or the title holder as per the revenue records.. why you want the cheque in your name?

Because they took four yrs to mutate land in name of heirs wanting bribes.still it's not mutated on computer. If i lodge case it will b their duty to search legal heirs

if you believe that you have given all relevant fact the be enlightened :-
(i) you never stated whey at all cheque should be in your name while land is muted in father's name?
(ii) you have not stated whether at all your father has died?
(iii) you have not sated what exactly is the fault of the revenue office?
(iv) you have not at all stated as to what
efforts you have made to have your name nuted?

Cheque should be in legal heirs name . I m one of them. It is ancestral land. If father had been alive why would I run around. It's self explanatory when I say mutation. Revenue office (nt) labelled my land disputed wanting bribe. Cancelled by Sdm and nt suspended. Now they r delaying it . Still not changed in revenue records
