while the cross examination of one accused is going on, can the co-accused speak or interfere in the middle? to what extent is it/ is it not permissible? what is the role of the co accused in cross examination of another accused?

i dont understand how that matters. nevertheless, yes i am a student but also a trainee advocate interning under a lawyer. that information is essential to a case i am working on with my employers.
