if a person is convicted of culpable homicide he is liable to be punished under which section of I. P .C ?

Sec 304 IPC.

If it is culpable homicide amounting to murder, punishment may be under section 302 or 303 of IPC whereas if the culpable homicide does not amount to murder, punishment may be either under section 304 of 301 of IPC.
