Dear All
Want to understand for below quety
I have filed for Divorce from Haryana and wife has approached Supreme Court for Transfer Petition-Civil for case to be transferred to her native place
Honorable Supreme Court has given Stay orders on Divorce proceedings, thats ok
But since then the case is not getting listed
I have spoken to my lawyer and we are preferring to case to be referred to mediation in supreme court but as on date case not getting listed
As and when same gets listed, my lawyer will revert in writing to honorable supreme court and pray to get the case referred in mediation
My query is how long will it take to get listed and how soon it can be referred

There is heavy load rush / flood of pending cases at Supreme Court. Nothing definite can be said on date of listing.
Raj Kumar Makkad (Expert) 17 March 2020
CORONA shall first reply when Supreme Court shall start normal working. Forget your case at least for some more time.
KISHAN DUTT KALASKAR (Expert) 19 March 2020
Dear Sir,
Normally High Courts and Supreme Court do not give any next date of hearing. The party in urgency may approach the Court and pray for listing the matter and seeing the urgency it may registered.
Rajendra K Goyal (Expert) 19 March 2020
It is doubtful urgent listing would be done in the given circumstances / case.

However, may move if your lawyer agree.
T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate (Expert) 20 March 2020
The next date of listing in supreme court cannot be predicted owing to the heavy burden on supreme court on such issues.
However your supreme court lawyer can take up this matter through registry after the present dust called corono virus issue is settled.
Rajendra K Goyal (Expert) 23 March 2020
Moreover, due to CORONA effect all proceedings in most of the courts are standstill.
Raj Kumar Makkad (Expert) 23 March 2020
Supreme Court has restrained its work only for the most important urgent work at least up to 4th April 2020 due COVID-19.
Rajendra K Goyal (Expert) 24 March 2020
Even CORONA effect can be increased, would have effect for months on court proceedings. Proceedings are bound to be delayed.
