V R SHROFF (Expert) 24 August 2013
ur interest for labour or contractor or principal co.?? How r u involved??
Guest (Expert) 24 August 2013
Safety of the worker at principal's premises is the main responsibility of the principal employer. Bowever, both the contractor and principal can be held liable for negligence in safety measures and arrangements for the workers.

Unless you are able to prove egligence on the part of the worker despite safey arrangement, your liability, as a principal employer, cannot be extinguished.
