Delay at arguments stage

The Plaintiff has been delaying the suit by asking for adjournments at every hearing. The Plaintiff's evidence was closed by order. The plaintiff went to the High Court for revision and even there asked for adjournments. High Court did not grant him any any further opportunity. Now the case it at the Argument Stage. Even now the Plaintiff is asking for Adjournments and giving excuses. Can the Arguments be closed by order too? Usually how many time do the Courts give adjournments at this stage.

Generally Courts do not provide long adjournments at this stage and after he has to lead arguement otherwise court shall decide the case on merits hearing your argument.
