Delay of joining by a company

Sir, I completed my graduation in 2012, I was selected by a MNC IT company by campus recruitment which gave offer letters(letter of intent)then. Via mail it also promised us joining before July 2012
After completion of graduation, the company gave joining to students of few universities only. And for the rest it conducted a test, said,whoever clears the test in first attempt will get Joining soon but failed students have to go for another test.After conducting a test, due to some reasons it gave away its idea of conducting the second test for the failed candidates, and also stated it will give joining to all with preference to the ones cleared in the test.
Now it has been an year, we(both) are still waiting for our joining, shall we sue the company against the false promise.

If there is so much delay in appointment , then it is better to look for other job.
In private employment no speedy legal recourse is available for relief on the basis of the said appointment letter.
Anyway, send a final legal notice asking for date of joining and then move on.

Avoid position of uncertainty for an indefinite period. Try for job in some other company.

sir, but i m not the only victim, there are around 4000 students all over India, they have sent us a mail promising joining on month of july 2012. shall this be used to go for a legal conclusion..

Email surety for job to 4000 students at a time by a single company is a matter of doubt.
However, examination of the problem in detail with refernce to the contents of documents/emails would be necessary to arrive at some appropriate opinion.

What & which company is this?
Such a head count 4000 ?
Even big one do not have so many heads.
I and many of us saying you to forget about only because 2 years passed already ,decades may pass in litigation even if any relief is thought of after serous evaluation of your cause.

U might have seen this in media..The company is HCL technologies...4th largest IT firm in India.. This company recruited us via campus placements and promised us joining before july 2012.. Yes, it recruited around 4000 students all over India and still have not issued them joining...pls help..

Stop chasing this company which defaults at the very inception.
Join some other one.
