Denial of appoitment in public sector bank due to pendency of 498

Hi,
I have been selected for the position of Probationary Officer in a Public Sector Bank and my verification process in due on 7.06.2016. Now, during the filling of application form , I was a single man. But after a couple of months I got married which turned out to be the biggest mistake of my life as my wife in due course of time following regular quarrels and unlawful demands went ahead and filed a false 498 against me and my family. We got bail and everything. And till now all her claims have been proved wrong in the court and we hope to win this case in the next two hearings that follows.
However, for my joining, the people from the bank are saying that since there is a case pending against me, they will not give me appointment. I have read through several judgements where I found that 498 is not an obstacle to government job .. then why is this different in my case? and what do i need to do in order to get my appointment ?
please advice and help anyone.

As you said your case has not come to an end. Still, however, you can put up a representation to the bank after consulting a good lawyer

Is there any interim order passed by court tom that extent? If yes obtain certified copy.
"I have read through several judgements where I found that 498 is not an obstacle to government job .. then why is this different in my case? and what do i need to do in order to get my appointment ?"

Bank would not issue appointment letter till any criminal case is pending against you.

If I state my facts of the case and situation in front of the bank and say in the next month itself my case gets final judgement, then will the bank give me time and allow me to submit my documents for verification and then issue me the appointment letter ?

Don't post any wrong information and/or conceal anything in attestation form.
Don't be anxious.
Let bank do whatever it want to do as per its internal and inner wishes.
If you don't err later you can press and even get relief from courts.
Don't weaken your stance and rights by concealment.

Mr. Doab.. you are getting me wrong ... I have already received the attestation form from bank's end. and I am not concealing any fact .. where they have asked me to state whether i have been accused in any court of law i wrote YES and where they said have you ever been arrested I said No because that is the truth .. I am only asking that if even after I am stating all the facts correctly .. and my judgement is coming out on 30th June .. and the banks verification shall take place on 7th of June .. will the bank wait for me later to come out clean and give me the job ??
