I HAD PASSED LLB(SPECIAL) EXAM IN 2004 AND SINCE THEN I AM WORKING AS ACCOUNTANT IN A COMPANY. I HAVE NOT TOOK SANAD SINCE THEN. NOW I WANT TO LEAVE MY JOB AND START PRACTISE TO BE A LAWYER, WHAT STEPS TO BE TAKEN BY ME?

Get the enrollment form from your state bar council, fill that form and submit the same to your state bar council.
Everything required for enrollment is mentioned on enrollment form.

Dont think that by getting enrolment with the Bar Council and getting Sanad to practice as an Advocate, you will earn money right from day one or from month to month as you are now getting salary. Earning money by practising as an Advocate is a very very tough job. You come to Advocate job only if you (i.e. means your family) has financial background to support you while you are struggling.
Therefore think several times before leaving the current employment. Do not regret later as at that time, you will find getting employment again very difficult.

Presently to Practice in Courts apart from Bar council Enrollment you have to get thro in Bar Council Exam also.Discuss with your State Bar council.

You may decide any specific field of law you would like to chose e.g; Taxation, Civil, Criminal, Labor-Service, Consumer, Family matters etc etc and focus…
If you are sincere, honest, effective then you can find your place and succeed in competitive field.
The dishonest, un-sincere do not last long…
At LCI also you shall see many IT’s, entities that loiter at online portals like LCI, to allure unsuspecting querists and fail everyday and in utter frustration end up abusing querits, fellow members, experts, LCI admin……..
Such entities advertise and show off pictures of Old and sick entities and desperate for even Pachaas Rupalli….( Rs.Fifty only)
On the contrary there I dearth of person wanting to discuss with Those That are sharing, contributing to profession, cause (not mere case) and care …..
