They both mean the same thing. There is no difference.

Dismissed person can be re-appointed on any post in future whereas removed person is not entitled for that. Though in dismissal also person is removed from the post but removal itself represents harsh situation.

NO.I DISAGREE WITH MR. MAKKAD.AS PER MY VIEW, THE DISMISSED PERSON CAN NOT BE RE-APPOINTED IN ANY POST IN FUTRE,WHILE REMOVED PERSON IS ENTITLED FOR RE-APPOINTMENT.

Humbly, I also wish to disagree with Mr.Raj Kumar Makkad, but Mr Ajay Bansal has also again put me in the same confusion for which I had asked the question!
As per my opinion that is the "termination" after which a person can be re-appointed, But Dismissal and removal are the same things. I just want endorsement of some learned persons in the regard, of my opinion.

Termination of services as a consequence of disciplinary proceedings, which bars future employment in the establishment is dismissal, whereas in removal, the employee, whose services are terminated has a right to be employed in future. But both are punishments under service law.
