(Querist) 04 May 2013 This query is : Resolved
I joined as AE in Punjab state transmission corp.(PSTCL) in sept 2012 . Punjab state electricity board (PSEB) was unbundled into two corporations 1. PSTCL 2.PSPCL(Power corp.) in apr 2010. I have applied for AE in 2010 in erstwhile PSEB for which I have got an appointment letter in 2013 april through Court orders given by Hon'ble Pb. & Hry. high court. Now please guide me whether I am liable to pay the bond or not.The problem is that my present corp. (PSTCL) is saying that you have been appointed after unbundling of PSEB thats why you are liable to pay the bond.please guide me what should I do.

please help me.

as on date yoiu have not been called upon to pay the bond money . cross the bridge when you come to it . dont raise hypothetical queries .
since PSEB has been unbundled into 2 corporations and you continue to be part of one of new company formed namely PSTCL you would not be liable

How the supreme court judgment can help you? Individual judgment is applicable in the concerned individual's case only. They are not common in nature to be applicable universally. Moreover, judgments depend upon various factors and criteria on case to case basis.

Management is not guided by any judgment in some other case, unles the Government issues some amendment in rules based on such a judgment.

Even otherwise a bond in one PSE/PSU is transferable to the other PSE/PSU on selection of the employee in that PSE/PSU.
