different surname of parent and son

my son and i use a different surname .ie i and my wife use tibrewal but he uses agarwal so are there any legal complications in future?
basically we are a part of the agarwal community and various surnames can be used.

there cannot be any legal complications because of using any name or surname,so long as it is the one in your birth certificates/school certificates. If the present name is different and the same is duly authenticated by publishing in the official gazette,then also no legal problems.

but,you may face social issues because of the same according to your local customs.
