Divorce by mutal consent.

if divorce is done by mutal consent ,and one time setllement is done, can the wife claim maintaince after that.what precaution should be taken to avoid any further trobule.

in the consent terms mention that lumpsum payment has been made in full and final settlement . get consent terms drafted by your lawyer

If lumpsum payment is duly mentioned in the decree of divorce then wife cannot claim.

Agree with the experts, the condition that no future maintenance would be claimed by the wife may be inserted in the divorce petition.
