I am 51 years old and a civil engineer in govt. of maharashtra’s irrigation department. I have married after my 1st wife's death 3 years ago with a widow having a daughter. i have also 2 daughters. just after 2 months of marraige i and my family knew that the wife is selfish, narrow minded, has no respect for me,my parants. has no reason to fight. so my parrants left my house and currently living in other house in the same city.she has approached 'mahila takrar nivaran kendra' forum by police, stating false that we demanded dovery and beated her, included my old age parrants name while they were not living with me at that time. so ploice called me and after 3-4 meetings police forced me to live with wife otherwise they will put me and my family behind the bars. So I get back with wife unintendly .my both daughters are living in pune. only i, wife and her daughter are living together. But still she always fights with me. I always live daytime out of house, so it is becoming very difficult for me to live with her. Alwayas thinking to run out anywhere or sucide. But after thinking about my daughters I left it behind. My wife is not ready for divorce at any cost. And I want divorce at any cost. Is law very sympathatical for ladies? Has husband has no right to reject the wife like my wife? Normly I am very cool and calm but this wife has destroyed my and my family’s life. Pl. tell me how I can get out from my wife.

You must do what your inner concious says.
Why throw away your parents? Live with them .Why not live with your own daughter?? Your own blood??
Don't worry abt Police or court or dowry..

I fully agree with the learned expert Mr.Shroff. Do not fear if there is no mistake on your part. Live your normal life with your parents. You are cool and calm. Maintain the same. Do not imagine the law is in favour of women. Law takes the facts into account while dealing each case. As regards police harassment, you may have to answer their questions as it is their duty to investigate any complaint. Co-operate with them and explain the facts. You can take somebody with you to narrate the factual position. Otherwise you can engage the services of a local lawyer to settle the matter with the police.
It is unfortunate to face the situation at this age. No one can escape the destiny, but face the situation with courage and with sincerity. If you simply get rid of this second wife without any valid reasons, that is not justified. Make a self-assessment. It gives you to strength to face the situations.
